Hello!

I am an illustrator based in Brooklyn NY. I work primarily in pen and ink and love to use energetic, scratchy lines to create movement and expression in my illustrations.

My illustration style, especially my linework, is informed by my sketchbook practice of life drawing. I love the rush of capturing fleeting moments or scenes with only a few seconds. Some of my favorite places to draw include on the subway, on the beach, and at the airport. 

I am also a book designer. I design books for children at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers and make zines in my spare time. I am passionate about finding new ways to integrate design, hand lettering, and illustration to tell stories.
